Downtown Campus: Workshop on Trauma-Informed Report Taking for the Criminal Justice Community

This Wednesday, April 19th, the Title IX office and the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities are hosting a workshop at the Downtown Campus called "And Then What Happened? Trauma-Informed Report Taking."

Sexual assault is a unique crime: one of the few where the survivor is witness and crime scene in one. Sensitive, trauma-informed report-taking can facilitate a case moving through the legal system smoothly. Join RESTORE advocate Julia DeLuca and New York State Trooper Matt Stegner for a timely conversation on how those in the legal world can work with survivors of sexual assault to capture accurate and trauma-informed reports.

This workshop will also be live-streamed via YouTube

Wednesday, April 19th
12:00 to 1:00pm
