Fireside Chats with President Burt-Nanna

Date: Wednesday, March 22, 2023
Time: 12:30 to 1:00 pm
Where: Downtown Campus, High Falls A/B

Topic: “What is MCC’s role as 1 of only 10 colleges selected nationally for the Aspen-CCRC “Unlocking Opportunities” (UO) network to lead “Community College 3.0” reform? How is it being used to amplify our “distinction…value-added” and bolster enrollment? What role can you play in “UO” to train the field of community colleges across the United States?”

President Burt-Nanna has instituted some enhancements to the Fireside Chat for the current academic year. During the last Spring 2022 Fireside Chat gatherings, participants were surveyed on their preferred format for these discussions. The President has incorporated participants' feedback to establish a combination of in-person and virtual sessions to be hosted in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.

Of the two Fireside Chats each semester, one will be hosted fully in-person and the other fully virtual.

The upcoming Fireside Chat will take place in person on March 22 at 12:30 pm.

President Burt-Nanna continues to look forward to leveraging these opportunities to engage directly with staff and faculty for their perspectives and insights.
