Javas
Javas Coffee Bar will delight patrons in the brand new South Lounge entranceway in Building 3 with an exciting array of coffees, teas, pastries and other traditional coffee-bar fare. Many of our students are already familiar with the well-known Javas at their Gibb's Street location, and Mike Calabrese, manager of Javas, promises patrons more of the same fine service and ambiance! Look for Mike and his crew as they try out a few creative marketing strategies during the first few week!
Simply Crepes
Simple Crepes Cafe of Pittsford's Schoen Place also will open today at our former Books and Bytes location outside the Library in the spine of Building 11. Pierre Herroux and his wife, Karen, are well-known entrepreneurs in the Rochester area and also happen to be MCC alumni. This eatery will provide breakfast, lunch and dessert crepes that will be sure to please even the most particular taste buds! Pierre is pleased to post the following menu for MCC patrons:
Breakfast Items:
Eggs/Cheese/Bacon Crepes; Simply Strawberry; Crepe Rolls (2) in Lemon, Strawberry, Blueberry or Maple!
Lunch Offerings:
Turkey BLT; South Western; Simply Salad
Dessert Menu:
Peaches and Cream; Fresh Strawberry; Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana; Crepe Chips with Sweet Vanilla Crème (caramel or nuts available at an extra charge)
Drinks include hot chocolate, flavored coffees and herbal teas.
Both of these dining services are available from early morning throughout the afternoon, based on test-marketing done during the first few weeks of business. Specific hours are posted at each site. Please be sure to patronize these dining establishments and welcome them to MCC!
