Update Google Chrome ASAP

Google Chrome announced that they found and fixed a zero-day vulnerability. If your Google Chrome browser is at version 112.0.5615.121 or earlier it is at risk, putting your computer at risk, until it is updated.  

To update Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the More Options dots in the upper right corner.
  2. Next, hover over the word Help.
  3. Click on About Google Chrome.
  4. Chrome will automatically update.

    • If you get a message saying you must Relaunch Chrome to finish updating, click the Relaunch button. In this circumstance the update will not take effect until you relaunch your browser. When you use the relaunch button in the browser, all the open tabs should be restored. If instead, you close and reopen Chrome, that will complete the update, but your tabs will not be preserved.

    • If you do not get the message to Relaunch Chrome you are all set.
