Over the past weekend, the system that creates and maintains the
College's student email accounts experienced a failure that caused the
deletion of a large number of student email accounts and their contents,
including any and all saved email. All deleted accounts have been
recreated but the process caused the account name to change, i.e.,
jdoe001 is now jdoe003. All class distribution lists have been
automatically updated with the new account names.
We sincerely apologize for any and all inconvenience that this loss has
caused and assure you that steps have been taken to prevent a recurrence
