Why should we remember Kristallnacht?
Exactly 70 years ago on Nov. 10 in Germany, more than 200 synagogues were destroyed and tens of thousands of Jewish businesses and homes were ransacked. This day, now referred to as Kristallnacht or the "night of broken glass," is regarded by many as the start of the Holocaust during which millions of Jews and maginalized others were murdered.
