Admitted Student Day

MCC hosted a successful Admitted Student Day, on Saturday, June 10, 2023. We welcomed 245 students and 325 guests.  

This event is for students who have been admitted to MCC, their families, guests and supporters.  Visitors were able to choose from a wide range of activities including:

  • Tour Brighton Campus, Downtown Campus and Applied Technology Center
  • Explore the Residence Halls and apply for fall Housing
  • Meet with faculty and staff and learn about their future academic program 
  • Receive important information about the next steps including Advising and Financial Aid
  • Engage with student service departments and visit our Athletic facilities
  • Receive MCC Student ID card
  • Enjoy an Ice Cream Social 

A special thank you to Matthew Lawson, Assistant Director of Admissions, Orientation and First Year Experience, who coordinated the event, as well as the numerous members of our college community who welcomed and engaged with our new students.
