High School Student's Art Exhibit in Mercer Gallery Spotlighted on TV
Claire McLaughlin, an 18-year-old School of the Holy Childhood student, was interviewed by WHAM-TV during her inaugural art show in MCC's Mercer Gallery on June 15. Watch WHAM-TV's segment. Her father, John, also an artist, talked about Claire's talents and her artworks on display.
The exhibit will continue through Thursday, June 22. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Many thanks to Jason Flack, gallery director and Visual and Performing Arts Department chair, who “was all in to help Claire achieve her dream of an art show” when he was approached about this opportunity. Additionally, he captured images of the exhibit reception; they are posted on the gallery's web page.
