Room 12-113

Successful leaders are moving themselves and their organizations forward by focusing on their own personal excellence in every aspect of their day.  The first truth in this millennium is that Leadership is no longer a position it is a practice.  The second truth is leaders exist at every level in an organization.  The third truth is that the past is not the future and each day successful leaders are paving new paths.  The fourth truth is that the ability to create and sustain relationships is the air that leaders need to breathe to go from surviving to thriving.

In this time of great transition and change the call for leadership through personal excellence is even more imperative than ever.

This interactive session will provide a leadership forum to define:

*  The core attributes of leadership regardless of position.
*  How to identify and create personal excellence in each aspect of your day.
*  The impact and forward momentum that is created for yourself, for others, and for the organization by focusing on excellence.

Outcomes/by the end of this session one will:

*  Focus on the key activities that create the right forward momentum for yourself and the institution.
*  Commit to a practice of excellence which creates your personal hallmark of leadership and the steps necessary to achieve the kind of excellence that will move yourself and others forward.

*  Skills to create the kind of relationships and partnerships that move everyone forward.
*  Techniques to develop yourself and others to bring excellence to each aspect of the day.
