Dr. Bill Drumright Selected for 2023 Summer Institute for Genocide Studies

Dr. Bill Drumright, Associate Professor of History in AHPS and a faculty advisor to the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Project (HGHRP), has been selected to participate in the 2023 Summer Institute for Genocide Studies. Drumright was selected from nearly fifty applicants to attend the Institute, scheduled for June 5 through 9 at Keene College in Keene, New Hampshire.

As part of changes to HIS 275, "The Holocaust: History and Legacies," Professor Drumright plans to examine the development and the evolution since 1945 of the international legal framework relating to Human Rights. In part, this development was spurred both by the horrors of the Holocaust and in response to the destruction and carnage left by the Second World War.
