Locke Presents "An African-American Perspective on Lessons of the Holocaust" Today at DCC


Rochester Mayor William A. Johnson, Jr. will introduce author and educator Hubert G. Locke to the college community at noon in room 4-151 at the Damon City Campus.

Locke, co-founder of the annual Scholar's Conference on the Holocaust and the Churches, will present "An African-American Perspective on Lessons of the Holocaust." This presentation marks the beginning of a two-day, annual commemoration of Yom HaShoah, the International Day of Remembrance of Holocaust Victims.

This event is sponsored by the Holocaust Genocide studies Project and the Damon City Campus. It is free and open to the public.
