Drive to Support ABW

The support from the college in this venture has been fantastic.  Please note that we have extended the collection date until Monday, October 4.

The Support Staff Professional Development Committee (SSPDC) is once again asking the college community for their help.  The Alternatives for Battered Women has recently asked for donations of school supplies for the children at their shelters.

These children often leave their home with little or no notice.  Many of them do not have the opportunity or time to take much with them.  Once they are settled and into to school again they need to be supplied with the neccessities.  We are asking for items that children of all ages would need in a school setting.  Some suggestions are:  pens, pencils, backpack, lunch boxes, small boxes of crayons and markers, basic calculators, folders, binders, notebooks, etc.  Basically anything you can think of that a student might need.

The collection will take place from now until MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2004
There have been several locations set aside in which you may drop off your items:
