MCC Honors Student Published in Illuminate

Please join me in congratulating Daniel Heberle whose essay, Individualizing the Objectified: Diego Velázquez’s Court Dwarf and Jester Portraits of Philip IV's Court” has been published in Illuminate, the undergraduate journal of the Northeast Regional Honors Conference.

Daniel worked on this essay with his faculty sponsor, Scott Rudd (English/Philosophy), last year along with several other projects that he presented at Scholars’ Day, the Northeast Regional Honors Conference, and the Beacon Conference for Student-Scholars at Two-Year Colleges.

Daniel is now studying Art History at the University of Rochester, but will be leading a talkback of Exit through the Gift Shop later this semester through the Humanities Film Series of MCC.  For more information about the Humanities Film Series, email Scott Rudd (srudd@monroecc.edu).
