SUNY Civic Education Community of Practice Convening

Registration for the SUNY Civic Education Community of Practice Convening is now open for the in-person one-day convening to be held Friday, May 16th, in Albany! SUNY faculty and staff are invited to participate in the convening to learn from each other and build a community of practice around the topic of civic education in the SUNY system. There will be opportunities to discuss curricular topics (including preparation for the fall 2026 implementation of the new General Education core competency in Civic Discourse), civic engagement activities, student activities, and more. More information and a schedule will be available soon. Space is limited.
