Join the Wellness Council and the AAWCC for an Asian Rolls Cooking Class!

Asian flavor profiles are always popular and creating rolled treats are a great way to engage family and friends in the meal preparation.  It’s also a great way to incorporate fresh, healthy ingredients into your appetizers and meals.

Join us on March 30th from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m. for an in-person cooking demonstration from the Hospitality Department’s Chef Douglas to learn how to prepare healthy Sushi Rolls and Vietnamese Spring Rolls. In this hands-on cooking class, you will sample your delicious creations. The class is open to all MCC employees and is free of charge, thanks to the MCC Wellness Council and the AAWCC (American Association for Women in Community Colleges).

Seating is limited to 15 participants and is on a first come, first served basis, so sign up early! Email Andrea Wolff at awolff@monroecc.edu for additional details and to register for the class.  (The class will be held in Building 3, Room 140. Participants should wear covered-toed shoes, such as sneakers, for safety in the kitchen.)
