Sips & Sweets: Women’s History Month Tea Party

Campus Activities Board invites you to our Sips & Sweets: Women's History Month Tea Party! This is an opportunity to come together to celebrate and uplift Women. All are welcome to enjoy food, crafts and music!

Humanitarian Mapathon

  • Tuesday, April 1st, 3:30 to 5pm, Brighton Campus, Building 11, Room 111

Join The MCC Mapping Club & The Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project for the Humanitarian Mapathon! The mapathon is an opportunity for students to practice using open-source mapping software while supporting humanitarian mapping in high-priority areas. Pizza and refreshments will be served! Sexual Assault Awareness Month Self-Defense Workshop

  • Wednesday, April 2nd, 11:30am to 1pm, Brighton Campus, Building 10, Room 143

Join Cultural Alliance for a self-defense workshop! Everyone should know how to defend themselves. Boost your confidence & knowledge to stay safe at all times. Learn essential techniques with our expert trainers from Ronin Martial Arts Academy and RESTORE with Planned Parenthood. Registration is required!

Campus Cleanup Event

Join the Biology Club to help out with their campus cleanup! Let's make our campus environment cleaner and more beautiful! Just show up that day, gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Open Mic

The Student Music Association presents an open mic night! Come for music, singing, poetry, comedy accompanied by food and friends! You will have the opportunity to utilize a piano and electric or acoustic guitar as well!

The Creative Arts Spring 2025 Visiting Writer Series Presents Visiting Playwright: Seayoung Yim. Seayoung Yim is a playwright and educator from Seattle. Her play, Jar of Fat, published by Yale University Press, was the 2022 winner of the Yale Drama Series Prize.

She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen

  • Friday, April 4th, 7:30pm; Saturday, April 5th, 7:30pm; Sunday, April 6th, 2pm
  • Brighton Campus in the MCC Theatre, Robin & Tim Wentworth Arts Building

She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans, a young woman grieving for her deceased sister. The Evans sisters were never very close, but after Tilly’s death, Agnes finds a notebook containing a game scenario created by her sister. She discovers that Tilly was a well-known Dungeons and Dragons player. $8 for MCC Students with ID. $10 for MCC Faculty/Staff and Seniors. $12 for the general public. Purchase tickets online.

Engineering Leadership Council (ELC): Come Build a Musical Robot

An ELC Semester Project! Join the ELC to build a musical robot.

Women’s Wellness Drive

  • Women’s Wellness Drive: During the month of March, from 8:45am-4:45pm, stop by the Brighton Campus, Building 3, Room 126 & 125 and the Downtown Campus, Room 216 and Suite 310 to donate a variety of goods and resources for Women’s History Month! Items such as nonperishable foods, menstrual hygiene products, toiletries, and foods for expecting mothers.
  • Theatre Troupe: On Wednesday April 2nd the Theatre Troupe will be sponsoring Sarah Jade Pottery & Jewelry and on Thursday, April 3rd the Theatre Troupe will be sponsoring Cynthia Evans Tealicious Trends – both on the Brighton Campus in the Terrace. Make sure to check it out!
