Spring 2025 Virtual Campus Updates

The Virtual Campus is dedicated to providing continuous professional development opportunities for our College faculty and staff. We invite you to explore several upcoming opportunities from the Virtual Campus and SUNY, focusing on emerging trends in higher education such as Generative AI, enhancing course quality, and advancing accessibility efforts.

Additionally, the Virtual Campus maintains a comprehensive repository within Brightspace, offering resources on instructional technology and online pedagogy. We also provided personalized support during our weekly drop-in Zoom hours. Our instructional designers are available to collaborate with you on course redesigns or to guide the development of new courses. Information for faculty can be found on our Virtual Campus Information for Faculty website with weekly support times.

Virtual Campus Spring 2025 Support Groups

The Virtual Campus team is pleased to announce a series of support groups for all faculty and staff at the college. This semester, we will focus on two key areas:  Leveraging Generative AI in Higher Education and Empowering Instruction in a Digital World. These sessions do not require registration and are designed to accommodate your schedule. Each session will feature open discussions on the selected topics, and participants are encouraged to bring their questions. Our team will be on hand to facilitate discussions, provide valuable resources, and offer practical tips. Please email Kate Robinson if you would like to be added to our calendar invites or have further questions.
