Update From TRS

TRS 200, Integrated Reading and Writing II, will not be offered after fall 2022. Instead, TRS 100, Integrated Reading and Writing I, will serve as a single level developmental reading and writing course. TRS 100 has long offered a path directly to ENG 101 with TRS 099, so this change places all TRS 100 students on that accelerated track. The hope is that eliminating a stop-out point and moving students more quickly into credit-bearing English will result in higher student retention and success.

Incoming students with a TRS 200 placement should be registered into TRS 100. Students who have successfully completed TRS 100 with a C or higher should register for ENG 101 and TRS 099.
