Dr, Michael Haselkorn, Director of the Material Science and Engineering Laboratory Research Faculty at the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at RIT, will present on Management of Waste in Food Processing, April 22nd, noon-12:50 PM.
Dr. Haselkorn will discuss the types of waste generated by food processing, the impact of current waste management systems on the environment, and methods that can be used to minimize solid, liquid, and energy waste generation during food processing. The brown bag session will be held in building 3, room 172 and is open to the entire college community.
