What is a Resident Assistant (RA)?
Resident Assistants are student leaders who live on a residence hall floor, are available to students as a resource to the college and more specifically to Housing and Residence Life. Resident Assistants plan events, enforce policies and procedures and help with any issues that resident students may experience while living in the Residence Halls. The benefits of being a Resident Assistant are plentiful as it is a wonderful opportunity to build your communication, mediation, problem solving, and leadership skills.
