The WIA scholarship, a federally-funded scholarship, could help students get up to $5,000 to pay for their educational expenses. To determine scholarship eligibility, they have to attend a mandatory workshop/meeting.
At MCC, we are offering the WIA workshops periodically for the students’ benefits: however, the workshops are open to the public in general.
The WIA scholarship advisor is Lee Koslow from RochesterWorks!, and he can be contacted at 258-3516 or <<mailto:Lkoslow@rochesterworks.org>> if you have any questions about the WIA scholarship.
