MCC Engineering Science students were able to hold off a late surge by Broome CC to win the SUNY Two-Year Engineering Science Association Engineering Design Competition held at Dutchess Community College on Saturday, April 26th. The contest required teams to design and build autonomous vehicles that were able to traverse a track while avoiding obstacles located in random positions. Top scorers for MCC were Dan Revetti, Sami Al-Hout, and Brian Mesolella. The tribune engineers were advised by Adjunct Lecturer Brendan Flosenzier, Instructor Christopher Kumar, and Department Chair John Wadach.
