MCC Dental Hygiene Does It Again! 100% Passing Rate on Clinical Exam

The ENTIRE MCC Dental Hygiene Class of 2023 has passed the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments (CDCA) clinical examination (MTCE) on April 21, 2023.

Dental hygiene students take three licensure examinations: CDCA Manikin Treatment Clinical Examination (MTCE), CDCA Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), and the ADA National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE). The Class of 2023 students are currently at varying stages of test taking and most will complete all three by mid-July. Full licensure takes place after all three tests have been taken and passed. The job market for dental hygiene is robust and the salaries are substantial, making this health profession highly desirable.

The faculty are to be congratulated for their exceptional clinical training capabilities and specialized knowledge in the courses they teach within the program. The Dental Studies staff provide tremendous support to all of our students throughout their two years in the program. We are fortunate to be able to celebrate the many successes our students and faculty achieve, and are thankful for the support the College provides.

Way to go MCC Dental Hygiene Class of 2023!
