A Power Point presentation by Shahin Monshipour of the Anthropology, Sociology, History and Political Science Department will be given on Feb. 13th, 4 – 6 p.m. on the topic of " Tribal Weddings: a case of Pastoral Nomads of Iran." The presentation will include clips and slides from Monshipour's ethnographic work done last summer in Iran. Tribal sample food and drink will be served. Please watch the Daily Tribune for location.
A note for faculty members teaching anything related to global issues, social change/culture, or diversity: this presentation will make a good "extra credit assignment" for students to attend and reflect on.
