MCC women's lacrosse player Kaila Fox and men's lacrosse player Austin Gorman were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Fox, a sophomore midfielder, had a huge weekend as the top-ranked MCC women's lacrosse team went a perfect 3-0. Fox had seven goals and an assist in a 17-7 win over No. 5 Nassau CC Friday. The seven goals were the second-most in a single game in team history. She then added three goals and three assists in a 22-3 win over Bridgeport University Saturday, and finished with four assists in an 18-6 victory over Post University Sunday.
Gorman, a freshman attack, had a big game as the men's lacrosse team defeated Hudson Valley CC 15-4 Saturday. Gorman finished with nine points on five goals and four assists to lead the Tribunes to their second win of the season.
