The Week Ahead

The office of Student Life & Leadership Development presents the following events for next week (please share with students):

Disability Awareness Club Book Drive

  • Friday November 1st to Tuesday, November 19th

Donate a new or gently used book for all ages. This drive benefits MCC parents and their children. Donation boxes will be outside Student Life and Leadership office (3-126) on Brighton Campus and the following locations for Downtown Campus: Café 321, outside of Student Life and Leadership Development office (214), and outside of Student Service Center (310).

Election Night Watch Party

  • Tuesday, November 5th, 6:00 pm, Brighton Campus Forum (3-130)  

Come watch Election Night live as the results role in with Student Government Association and enjoy free food!

Post-Election De-Stress Event

  • Wednesday, November 6th, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Brighton Campus Forum (room 3-130)
  • Wednesday, November 6th, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Downtown Campus 2nd floor Multipurpose Room

Join the Office of Student Life & Leadership Development and Counseling, Disability & Health Services for a post-election de-stress event. Come to a safe space with de-stress activities, therapy dogs, and goodies to take home!

Engineering Alumni Panel

  • Wednesday, November 6th, 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Brighton Campus room 7-109

Join Engineering Leadership Council for an alumni panel discussion and pizza party.

Other News:

  • Officers from Travel Club are traveling to Del Lago Casino and Resort for a tour of the resort and food service facility.
  • Officers from the Radiology Club will be traveling to Schenectady, NY to attend the New York State Society of Radiologic Sciences Conference.
