To support student persistence* and retention, a new section, “Retention News,” has been added to the MCC Daily Tribune. The section will help centralize news and information related to the Academies Model, MCC Schools, Title III, Starfish, High Impact Practices, and good news from all of you regarding exciting retention initiatives to further support our students’ success. It will highlight best practices and MCC achievements in this area.
The Retention News category has also been added to the Tribune submission form in Microsoft Outlook thanks to the good work of the Computer and Information Technology Services Team.
* Student persistence is defined as enrollment from term to term. For example, fall to spring or spring to fall. Student retention is defined as fall-to-fall enrollment.
