Dr. Alexis Vogt invited to White House for NASA Workforce Roundtable

At the invitation of NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy, Dr. Alexis Vogt, professor and chair of the Optical Systems Technology program, attended the National Space Council’s Space Workforce Roundtable at The White House on Thursday October 3rd. The convening included industry and community college workforce leaders discussing the current and future needs of the space industry and was an opportunity to hear about the Administration’s space STEM priorities and learn about national efforts to strengthen and grow the space workforce.
