Still Time to Enjoy the MCC Wellness Council's Free Dinner and MCC Student Play

Don't miss out on a fun evening of dinner and theatre!  There are still a few spots remaining for the MCC Wellness Council's free dinner for faculty and staff to celebrate the MCC fall musical on Friday, November 22 at 5:30 pm.  You may bring one guest to the dinner at no charge.  Please reserve your spot for the dinner by Thursday, November 21.

As an extra perk, MCC students will provide musical accompaniment during the dinner.

After dinner, you are invited to attend the musical Green Day's American Idiot starring MCC students.  Tickets for the play are $10 for MCC faculty and staff, and $12 for the general public.  The play begins at 7:30 pm.

Green Day’s American Idiot is rated ‘R’ (ages 17+).  It is a punk rock musical that tells the story of three frustrated friends and other disenfranchised youths as they struggle to understand and support the American society in which they live. The show is one act, so there is no intermission. There will be loud rock music and flashing lights, and perhaps some fog, much like a rock concert. It is a wild ride from start to finish.

A special musically-themed gift basket will be raffled off at the dinner and includes two free tickets to the musical.  Tickets will be sold at the dinner. You do not need to be present to win.   All proceeds support the VAPA Scholarship fund.  Tickets are priced as follows:

  • $1 for 1 ticket
  • $5 for 6 tickets
  • $10 for 14 tickets
  • $20 for 30 tickets.

Please note: Seating is limited for this event. Please be sure to select the date and time when in the booking. Please answer the questions under your name and email. Once complete, please use the "Book" button below the questions to reserve your seat. After submitting, you will receive a confirmation email that your seat has been reserved. If you are bringing a guest, you will receive a second email within a day to confirm your guest seat was reserved.
