Description: Academic Advising is a developmental process which assists students in the clarification of their life and career goals and in the development of educational plans for the attainment of these goals. This workshop reviews developmental verses prescriptive advising, ideas on the "whole" student, student development theory and concepts, and the roles of the advisor and advisee. It is designed for those who want to further refine their advising skills.
