Scheduled Power Outage for Brighton Campus During Winter Break

Facilities is planning to complete critical deferred maintenance on the electrical substations at the Brighton Campus on Monday, December 30th. This will impact the entire campus. Power will be turned off for 8 to 12 hours, beginning at 7am.  Areas served by emergency generators will have power to critical systems. Residence Halls will have auxiliary power for 12-month residents.

We strongly suggest that you shut off all computers and sensitive electronic equipment before you leave for the Holiday Break.

If issues arise that delay the completion of the repairs, power will be restored Monday evening and another shutdown will take place on Tuesday, December 31st.
