Siva Visveswaran Named as Director, Finger Lakes Workforce Development Center (FWD Center)
Please join me in welcoming Siva Visveswaran to his new role as Director, Finger Lakes Workforce Development Center (FWD Center). Siva has a M.S. in Computer Science from Wayne State University and a M.A. in Economics and Entrepreneurship for Educators from the University of Delaware. He joined the MCC team in May 2022 and most recently served as Program Director, Software and Information Technology in the MCC Economic & Workforce Development Center/Corporate College.
Siva is an enprepreneur and a hands-on technology executive with a successful track record in incubating new ventures, driving innovation and managing high-performing global teams. Before coming to MCC, Siva was Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Topxight Labs LLC in New York City and New Orleans, LA where he helped start up multiple companies focused on EdTech, Financial Services, and Cybersecurity, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, Inducstrial IOT and Blockchain. One of the companies, Alphabeta, a FinTech education platform, is used at top universities across the US, UK, Europe and India. As Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Cognizant in New Jersey, Siva established a technology consulting organization and global centers of excellence that helped grow the financial services division from $700M to over $2B in five years and enhanced the company profile as a thought-leader.
