On January 10, 2010 the Greater Rochester Polar Cat Race Series will run one of its events here at the Brighton Campus. It will be a 4 mile run and any MCC students, staff, or faculty who are interested in participating are encouraged to contact the intramural office at 292-2869 or <mailto:jparrinello@monroecc.edu> for more details.
This event has been staged here at MCC for the past 4 years and has drawn a good crowd despite the usual chilly conditions. Food and beverages will be available at the event and it is a fun race to test your mental and physical stamina in normally grueling conditions!!! However, the chili and other warm food served after the race are sure to quickly assuage one’s cold body temperatures!!!
