Lola Haskins is the dynamic, energetic author of six volumes of poetry, of which Desire Lines, New and Selected Poems (BOA Editions, 2004) is most recent. Formerly a Professor of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Florida, she is the recipient of the much-coveted Iowa Poetry Prize, an accomplished writer of prose, and a tireless force in the field of cross-disciplinary collaboration.
