Important information regarding the Financial Aid Freeze date

The Financial Aid Freeze date for the Spring 2025 semester is Thursday, February 13, 2025.  Anticipated financial aid award offers are calculated based on FACE (Financial Aid Course Eligibility) enrolled hours eligible towards a student's current degree program.

If a student anticipates receiving financial aid this Spring 2025 semester, they must be advised of the following:

  • They confirm that they are officially registered and attending all classes.
  • The last “business” day to make changes to a schedule or change a major and have these actions count towards current financial aid compliance is Thursday, February 13, 2025.   
  • Waitlisted courses do not count as registered courses for the term.
  • If a student chooses to add classes after the freeze date, know that these credits may not increase the financial aid offers for this semester. Email FACE (face@monroecc.edu) if a student adds courses after the freeze date for further assistance.

Students can view their class schedule and confirm that all registered courses show as FACE eligible. Sign into the myMCC portal, select Register Here, under the Registration Menu students will see a link for Registration Compliance Results.
