PROTECTING THE GREAT LAKES FOREVER: ENVIRONMENTAL FORUM
Come and join in a community conversation regarding threats to the Great Lakes and what we can do to protect this national treasure.
Th. April 25
5:15pm: Environmental Fair in building 4 outside the theater and in the building 12 atrium: come and hear what local organizations are doing to support the environment.
7pm: Keynote speaker: Maude Barlow, National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians and chairs the board of Washington-based Food and Water Watch.
A panel discussion will follow with Maude Barlow; Jim Olsen, chair of For the Love of Water (FLOW); Roger Downs, Conservation Director and New York State lobbyist for the Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter; and David Klein senior field representative for the Nature Conservancy of Central Western New York.
Ms. Barlow will sign books outside the theater before the keynote address. Books will be available for purchase.
The conversation continues with workshops the following day held at RIT.
