Tech tip: Keeping Your Browser up to date

Keeping your browser up to date is important for your safety and protection as browser updates fix security holes and protect against online threats. Updates can also improve your browsing experience and give you access to new features and extensions.

To update the Chrome Browser:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click on more (three dots at top right)
  3. Scroll down to Help - About Google Chrome
  4. It will automatically check for updates. 
  5. Follow screen prompts to complete update.

To update Firefox browser:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click on menu (three lines at top right)
  3. Scroll down to Help - About Firefox
  4. It will automatically check for updates.
  5. Follow screen prompts to complete update.

To update Microsoft Edge browser:

  1. Open Edge
  2. Click on three dots at top right
  3. Scroll down to Help and Feedback - About Microsoft Edge
  4. It will automatically check for updates.
  5. Follow screen prompts to complete update.
