Last chance to RSVP for Public Safety Training Facility Tour Opportunity 12/10

The Support Staff Planning Council (SSPC) is proud to offer a tour of MCC’s Public Safety Training Facility (PSTF). This tour is open to all faculty and staff. PSTF is an incredible facility that trains Police officers, Firefighters, EMTs, Public Safety officers, and so much more. PSTF is one of the few locations in the entire country that has a full-size Boeing jet with computer-controlled ignitions to simulate jet engine plane fires for training purposes. They also offer indoor/outdoor firing ranges for the Rochester Police Department, interrogation simulation rooms, crime scene and forensics training programs, Monroe County’s office for emergency preparedness, and many other unique training settings. The tour will take place on Tuesday, December 10th at 9am. Please RSVP to Emily Miesch (emiesch1@monroecc.edu), chairperson of the Support Staff Planning Council, no later than Monday, December 9th.
