Save the Date: American Red Cross Blood Drive, December 12th

MCC Brighton campus is holding a Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, Forum, 3-130.

In order to give blood you must meet the following qualifications: You must be in general good health and feeling well. Also, be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. You may only donate blood every 56 days.

Maximize your blood donation and help more patients.  If you are an eligible type O, B negative or A negative donor, consider making a Power Red donation.  Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.

Your donation is needed to help alleviate the shortage and ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not delayed.

You can also save up to 15 minutes on the day of your appointment by visiting the American Red Cross Rapid Pass (RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass) to complete your reading and health history questions.
