Clinton Lauds Colleges' Homeland-security Programs" describes Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's recent tour of MCC's Public Safety Training Center and MCC's Homeland Security Management Institute. President R. Thomas Flynn was recognized as a part of a 21-member Ad Hoc Task Force on Homeland Security established by the American Association of Community Colleges.
The Quad A for Kids and Ronald McDonald House Charities grants to MCC's National Youth Sports Program were recognized as helping to "cover camp scholarship for inner-city youth and essential services, such as health care screenings."
