Kone and Olaode Place at Toastmasters Area 6 Contests

Congratulations to Pam Kone (Applied Technologies) and Samson Olaode (STAGE) for winning 2nd place trophies in the Toastmasters Area 6 Tall Tales and International Speech contests respectively on March 18th in Perinton.  They served as excellent representives of the MCC Toastmasters Club; their speeches were met with loud cheers and enthusiastic clapping!  Olaode spoke on "Second Changes, Lasting Impressions," while Kone told a tall tale called "Sleep City."  Both will serve as alternates for the Central Division Contest in April.

Want to check out our club?  The Toastmasters program is an excellent way to build communication and leadership skills in a gradual, low-stress manner.  Our next meeting starts at 4:45 pm on Tuesday, March 28th in the Brighton Room.  Please Contact Diane DeHond at x3428 or <mailto:ddehond@monroecc.edu> for more information or just stop by!
