Passing of Christine L. Forde, Former Chair of the Information and Computer Technologies Department

I am saddened to share the news of the recent passing of retiree Christine L. Forde. Christine was the former Chair of the Information and Computer Technologies Department. Her daughter, Gail Johnson, is an adjunct professor in the Department of Information and Computer Technologies.

Christine began her career at MCC in 1983 in the then Department of Data Processing as an adjunct assistant professor. She retired from MCC in June 2017.

Besides Gail, Christina is survived by another daughter, Pamela Francis; sister, Brenda Lott; and brother, Thomas (Ken) Sarkis; granddaughters, Mia and Stephanie Johnson; grandsons, Charles, Chaz, and Chase Francis.
