AAC&U Membership Access
Monroe Community College has been member of the American Association of Colleges and Universities for some time, and that membership includes all of you. Unlike many professional associations in higher education, an institutional membership means that every employee at the college is a member of the association. Please see the attached document highlighting member benefits, and if any of them are of interest to you, use the second attached document “How to create an AAC&U member account” to become an individual member.
Individual members have access to benefits such as:
- Complimentary on-line subscription to Liberal Education, the AAC&U award-winning magazine
- Research that covers a wide range of topics and issues and that provides timely evidence to support student success, advance equity, and advocate for liberal education
- Resources and models for equity-minded global learning
- Support for the integration of civic engagement into campus curricular and cocurricular initiatives
It is a good time to join as AAC&U completes the redesign of their website with will include “members only” online communities that will enable you to connect with colleagues across the country and around the world on topics of shared focus.
