Two Great Events: NYC Bus Trip & Admitted Student Day Recap

The Admissions Office recently hosted two incredible events that gave future Tribunes a meaningful first look at life at MCC.

NYC Accepted Student Bus Trip
From Friday, April 25 to Saturday, April 26, we welcomed 22 students from New York City for an overnight campus visit. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Residential Life, SODEXO, Marketing, and Academic Advisement, students stayed in our residence halls, took part in late-night activities, and joined us for Saturday’s Admitted Student Day. Your support helped create a warm and memorable experience for these future MCC students.

Admitted Student Day
On Saturday, we welcomed 497 guests to campus for Admitted Student Day—one of our biggest events of the year! Attendees had the opportunity to:

  • Participate in academic breakout sessions
  • Tour the campus and residence halls
  • Explore student services and college resources
  • Meet current MCC students
  • Tie-dye MCC shirts and enjoy an ice cream sundae
  • Schedule an appointment with their Student Success Coach
  • Meet with Financial Aid staff for help with the FAFSA, TAP application, and scholarship information

These two great events would not have been possible without the dedication and energy of our incredible faculty and staff.
