FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2007
ROOM 11-109, BRIGHTON
12:00-12:50pm
Second Life is an exciting new “world” that can be used as an extension of the classroom. MCC is leading an exciting SUNY wide project to explore the educational potential of virtual worlds. This session will teach you about Second Life and how other educators are using it in their classrooms. You will learn how to create an avatar, the basics of navigation and how to visit MCC’s Island. This session will prepare you to begin your exploration of this exciting new world and help you connect with groups of your peers. Facilitated by Terry Keys, ETS Instructional Technologies.
