Join the Faculty Senate, Faculty Association, CSEA and Human Resources to “Turn the NYS Workforce Purple” on Wednesday, October 15th!
This is the NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence’s seventh year to “Shine the Light on Domestic Violence” by turning the State purple to increase public awareness of domestic violence. For the past six years, landmarks across the state such as Niagara Falls, the Empire State Building, bridges, colleges, and statues were illuminated purple during October (National Domestic Violence Awareness month).
Please consider showing your support for this statewide initiative by wearing purple to work on Wednesday, October 15th!
