John Haines Promotion to Custodial Supervisor

The Facilities Department is pleased to announce that John Haines has been promoted to Custodial Supervisor.

With the recent retirement of a non-cleaning staff member we were able to reimagine our departmental structure.  John’s new role will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the day staff and evening crews in the Custodial Operations Department at the Brighton and Downtown campuses.

John has worked in Facilities in varying capacities since 2003 across all campuses and custodial shifts, including overseeing project work, supervision of different crews, and working with the Campus Events Department assisting with overtime and event set ups.  He is a passionate cleaning professional who takes pride in his work, relationships, and developing a team that helps the Custodial Operations Department support the mission of Monroe Community College. His valuable contributions, training, and years of experience with our department make him an excellent leader for this role.

Going forward, John will serve as a the primary point of contact for MCC’s custodial needs.

Please join Facilities in sharing our Congratulations with John.
