Long-term Fiscal Health Strategy Discussions

I again extend my sincere appreciation to those engaged in the critical, capacity-building work for the college's long-term sustainability, allowing us to demonstrate a shared commitment to the success of MCC students as our highest priority. Representatives of Administration continue to be in collaborative conversation with the Faculty Resource Committee (FRC) in accordance with our collective bargaining agreement. As a result of this consultative process,  potential strategies to reduce reliance on our Fund Balance and positively impact the financial health of the institution are being explored. No decisions have been made at this time.

Throughout this process our shared commitment to the success of our students has guided our conversations. I am inspired by our dedicated and caring MCC community as so many of you have reached out to the Executive Leadership Team to share your thoughts and offer productive suggestions. I will continue to keep you updated as this work proceeds and thank you again for your dedication to our outstanding students.
