The Application Deadline for the Competitive Health Programs is January 31st!

The application deadline for MCC’s competitive health programs (Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, Radiologic Technology, Surgical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Technology) is January 31st, 2025. Any student interested in applying for fall 2025 entry into one of those programs should submit their application by that date. Late applications will not be accepted.

Prior to applying, students should review the admission information to be sure they meet admission requirements and understand the competitive admission process. The current information for all programs can be found on the Health Related Programs website.

Instructions for applying (also included in the admission information referenced above):

  • For current MCC students: Please apply by submitting a major change request for your program of choice. The major change request serves as your application. This can be done by signing into your myMCC student portal, selecting the Student Home or Academic Plan tile, then clicking the Change Major link and selecting the term you are applying for.
  • For new, returning, or transfer students: Please apply via MCC's online application.

Students can reach out to their assigned advisor with any questions. Students may only apply to one program. Decisions will be communicated in mid-March.
