NEW THIS YEAR are a one-mile fun run and costume contest!  Help us celebrate by showing your support for this Homecoming tradition that results in scholarships and funds for educational innovation at MCC.

Our goal is to have over 400 walkers or runners participate. The walk/run is open to the college community and general public. Tickets are $18 per person for those who register by October 5 and $23 thereafter. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. in parking lot G; the walk/run will start at 11 a.m.  Prizes for men’s and women's top finishers, best costume and the team that raises the most will be awarded.

Student participants will be eligible to have their names included in a scholarship drawing—six student names will be selected to receive MCC scholarship awards totaling $5,000! To be eligible for the drawing, students must be currently enrolled at MCC and must participate in the race.

STAY FOR THE TAILGATE PARTY--tickets for the hot buffet lunch following the 5K are not included in the price of the race and may be purchased separately for $8.  The Tailgate Party, sponsored by the MCC Association and Sodexo, begins at 11:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. Visit the Health and Information Fair.  The scholarship drawing and awards ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m.  Women’s and men’s soccer matches at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and artist lecture and reception at the Mercer Gallery from 2-4 p.m.
